Doha is easy to explore in a weekend. Here is a balanced itinerary between heritage, culture and modernity.

Day 1 — Historic heart

Start at Souq Waqif in the morning: spices, crafts and traditional cafés. Then head to the Museum of Islamic Art, an I. M. Pei masterpiece, and stroll along the Corniche facing the bay. End at the National Museum of Qatar, shaped like a desert rose.

Day 2 — Modern Doha
